The Tehran Chamber of Commerce delegation, accompanied by Majid Ghasemi, Head of the Iranian Section of the BRICS Business Council, traveled to New Delhi with the aim of strengthening the relationship between the Iranian private sector and economic actors from the member countries of this international organization, identifying new opportunities for cooperation, trade capacities, and joint investment.

 

The BRICS Business Council and its specialized working groups will be held in New Delhi on September 11 and 12, 2026, and representatives of the private sector of the BRICS member countries will discuss and exchange views within the framework of the specialized working groups on solutions for developing economic, trade, and investment cooperation and expanding interactions between economic actors from the member countries.

 

Representatives of the Iranian private sector will also present their views and suggestions in various areas of the BRICS Business Council’s activities during the specialized meetings.

 

The focus of these meetings will be on "economic resilience", "digital transformation", "cross-border trade facilitation", "transition from traditional trade (goods) to the development of service sectors", "new technologies", "strengthening the role of women" and "startups" in the global economy.
