In the ceremony commemorating the 48th National Pharmacy Day of Iran, which was held simultaneously with the 23rd Annual Congress of the Scientific Association of Pharmacists and the 15th Annual Conference of the Association of Clinical Pharmacy Specialists at the Razi Conference Center of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Mahmoud Najafi-Arab, President of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, was honored with the High Medal of Honor of Iran's Pharmacy in recognition of his years of efforts in this field.

The 48th National Pharmacy Day Conference was held on the occasion of National Pharmacist Day with the presence of government officials and a group of thinkers and activists in the country's pharmaceutical sector, including Mahmoud Najafi-Arab, President of the Tehran Chamber, and Mohammad Abdohzadeh, President of the Health Economics Commission. In addition to raising key issues in the industry, the gathering honored the top activists in the field.

 

The purpose of this celebration is to increase interaction and dialogue about the pharmaceutical industry and introduce the honorees of this field in the academic, scientific and research sectors, industry development, and service provision. Accordingly, the Iranian Pharmaceutical Merit Medal was awarded for the third consecutive year to the winners of this field, pioneers, and influencers of the pharmaceutical industry.

 

At the 48th National Pharmacy Day Conference, Mahmoud Najafi-Arab, President of the Tehran Chamber, was honored for his innovative actions, research, and strengthening the country's pharmaceutical infrastructure, and he received the High Medal of Pharmaceutical Merit.
