Pakistani businessmen should use the capacity of the TCCIMA window unit to register their companies: Iranian trade minister
At the Iran-Pakistan Trade Conference held at the Pakistanis Federation of Chambers of Commerce, the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, while appreciating Pakistan's fraternal stances during the war against Iran, spoke about the necessity of developing and continuing investment in eastern routes even if restrictions are lifted in the south of the country.
The Iran Chamber of Commerce delegation, consisting of a number of heads of chambers across the country, heads of specialized commissions of the chambers, including the heads of the two commissions of "Energy and Environment" and "Trade Facilitation and Development" of the Tehran Chamber, and private sector activists from various fields of food, agriculture, transportation and transit, energy, automotive industries, polymer and petrochemical industries, is in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, to attend the Iran-Pakistan Joint Trade Committee and also to hold specialized meetings with the trade ministers of the two countries.
The Minister pointed out at the Iran-Pakistan Trade Conference that the economies of Iran and Pakistan can complement each other. But today, due to the lack of appropriate infrastructure, the field for joint activities at the desired level is not available for them. Therefore, governments must create the platform and the private sectors must be the executors.
Mohammad Atabak considered it possible to grant permits to establish industrial parks, “We must think in advance about factories and products whose production is economically justified, and also make plans about the amount and method of production” he said.
The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade also explained about company registration in Iran: A set of services that can be provided, including company registration, to economic actors has been created centrally under the title of a single window in the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, and Pakistani businessmen can use the capacity of this single window in the Tehran Chamber to register their companies.
It should be explained that the single window of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce was established in the Tehran Chamber of Commerce in 2020 in cooperation with the Companies Registration Office and within the framework of the approvals of the National Center for Studies, Monitoring and Improvement of the Business Environment (Deregulation Center). gradually, and in response to the welcome from economic activists, by deploying representatives of 16 executive agencies and eliminating a significant portion of bureaucracy, reducing in-person visits and saving time and money for business owners, the provision of services regarding the time of company establishment has been reduced from 72 days to 72 hours. Also, five foreign companies have been established through this mechanism so far, and after registering the company, the steps to receive their business cards have also been completed at the Tehran Chamber.
