Emphasis on expanding economic and investment cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Kamaluddin Tohid, head of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce, at the 10th Economic Cooperation Development Meeting in Kerman Province, Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasized the need to expand economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran.
According to the press release of the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce, Tohid called for facilitating the process of issuing visas and the movement of economic activists, supporting joint investments, transferring technical knowledge, and addressing the problems of Afghan businessmen in Kerman Province.
He also emphasized the development of private sector interactions between the two countries and considered creating suitable platforms for increasing the volume of trade exchanges and implementing joint projects as important factors in strengthening economic relations between Afghanistan and Iran.
In this meeting, the Afghanistan-Iran Joint Chamber of Commerce invited Iranian investors to travel to Afghanistan to closely examine the opportunities available for investment and economic cooperation and to participate in the country's economic projects.
The meeting was held in Kerman Province with the aim of examining strategies for developing economic and trade cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran and strengthening ties between economic activists of the two countries.
