On the sidelines of a meeting with Mahmoud Najafi Arab, President of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Turkish Ambassador to Iran, while referring to the requirements for improving economic and trade relations between Iran and Turkey, said: In order to strengthen joint cooperation, it is necessary to reduce bureaucracy and provide facilities for mutual trade. Some regulations in countries are very strict, and it is necessary for the laws to be regulated in such a way that trade between the two sides can be carried out more easily he added.
Hejabi Kerlangic continued by speaking about the necessity of the two countries’ officials to focus on joint production adding: “To simplify trade processes, a mechanism should be designed so that private sector companies of the two countries can jointly produce products. With joint production, sanctions can be overcome in various sectors he said; in this regard, there is a lot of potential in various sectors of industry and automotive manufacturing” he announced.
Kerlangic continued by offering suggestions for developing cooperation in the field of tourism and said: “A joint effort should be made to introduce Iran’s cultural and historical richness. For example, Iran’s tourist and historical attractions can be introduced in exhibitions held in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and other cities in Turkey” he added.

The Turkish ambassador to Iran also pointed out that strengthening tourism infrastructure in Iran is another thing that helps encourage Turkish tourists to come to Iran.
Requirements for developing trade relations between Iran and Turkey
Also, Mahmoud Najafi-Arab, head of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, stated on the sidelines of this meeting that improving the level of economic and trade relations between the two countries can be achieved through strengthening cooperation in the fields of logistics and supplying goods and the needs of the two countries.
He added: It is expected that in light of these interactions, the issue of truck traffic between the two countries will be resolved and customs bureaucracy at the Bazargan border will be reduced.
Najafi-Arab continued by referring to Turkey's support for Iran during the 8-year war and the recent imposed wars and said: "Given the significant potential that exists in Iran and Turkey for joint investment, we hope that in the post-war period, this cooperation will take shape in the fields of agriculture and transformation industries, transportation and automotive manufacturing."
He continued by referring to the delegation of authority over border provinces to the governors of Tehran and the infrastructure that has been created near the Imam Khomeini Airport City, and considered these capacities to be a path to developing trade relations with Turkey.
