The head of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, who attended a meeting with the president and the government's economic team, along with the board of directors of the Iranian Chamber, some heads of economic organizations, as well as a number of members of the chamber's delegation, explained the efforts of the private sector during the 12-day war.
Mahmoud Najafi Arab, noting that during the war imposed by the usurping Zionist regime against our country, the Tehran Chamber made every effort to provide uninterrupted service to economic activists, announced the submission of executive proposals to the government, some of which have been taken into consideration. He said: "During the days of the war, the main services of the Tehran Chamber, such as issuing and renewing business cards and issuing certificates of origin for economic activists, were never closed, and the operational units of the Tehran Chamber, observing safety and security guidelines and paying attention to the health of employees, worked in person in shifts without interruption."
Najafi Arab continued: "During this period, the meetings of the Tehran Chamber's advisory commissions were held online to survey the problems and challenges of businesses and present proposed solutions to the government, and all the chamber's units were busy working and responding to economic activists and chamber members in person and remotely, and this process is still ongoing."
, appreciating the government's all-out efforts to meet the needs of the people and maintain a calm public atmosphere in times of war, said: "Fortunately, the Tax Affairs Organization, in light of numerous suggestions and diligent follow-up by the Tehran Chamber, has considered some facilities such as issuing a default declaration or extending the benefit of Note. However, our expectation is that, given the necessity of restoring peace to the community of economic activists and facilitating economic activities as much as possible to prepare for resumption and compensate for the damages incurred, the other suggestions of the Chamber will also be considered and implemented" he added.
