Following the start of the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union and in order to strengthen the economic and diplomatic relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the member states of the Union, a meeting was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland with the presence of economic advisors from European countries and the President of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce.
At this event, , President of the Tehran Chamber, met with Marcin Wilczek, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Iran, before his speech to the group of European business advisors, and discussed Iran's economic, industrial, and technological capacities, and in particular, the members of the Tehran Chamber, for developing cooperation between the two countries.
The head of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce stated that despite all the pressures of sanctions, financial complexities, and foreign trade restrictions, Iran's private sector has succeeded in continuing its growth path by relying on local capacities, specialized human resources, and the development of domestic technologies.
He further suggested that ambassadors and economic advisors should stay closely informed about the latest trade trends, private sector capacities, and new opportunities for cooperation with Iran by attending the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and participating in meetings with representatives of private sector organizations.
Polish Ambassador Marcin Wilczek, while welcoming the head of the Tehran Chamber and appreciating his words, reviewed the historical background of the relations between the two countries and, referring to the extensive existing capacities, emphasized Poland's readiness to expand economic cooperation with the Tehran Chamber, especially in the field of facilitating corporate and commercial communications.
