The ambassador of Japan to Iran met with the president of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Idustries,Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA) so during a conversation that lasted for about two hours, the two sides exchanged views on the development of economic relations between the private sector of the two countries and the improvement of trade relations between Iran and Japan TCCIMA’s public relations reported.

At the meeting, Mahmoud Naj afiarab, head of the Tehran Chamber, referring to the popularity of the Japanese brand in the community of Iranian industrialists and consumers in recent years, stated that Japanese companies have been active and cooperating in the past few years, especially after the tightening of economic sanctions against Iran. They reduced themselves with the Iranian market.

 

The head of the Tehran Chamber stated that Iran's economy and market have many comparative advantages and at the same time, it has access to the market of nearly 500 million people from neighboring countries, and clarified that the continuous communication and cooperation between the Tehran Chamber and the Japanese Embassy in Tehran, It provides the basis for Japanese companies to get to know the Iranian market and economic opportunities and cooperation with Iranian companies.

 

At the continuation of the meeting, the Japanese ambassador welcomed the suggestions made by the officials of the Tehran Chamber in line with the development of economic relations between the two countries, so stated that helping and providing advice to Japanese companies to be present in the Iranian market is one of the missions of this embassy in Tehran.

 

Tsukada Tamaki reminded that some Japanese companies, especially in the food and drug industry, have put the expansion of new markets on the agenda, and in this regard, by creating a clear picture of the opportunities and risks of the Iranian market, the presence of this part of the Japanese private sector can be established.
