Envoy: Iran, Turkey eye to Ink preferential trade agreement

Iran and Turkey would inked a preferential trade agreement, Turkey will continue its trade with Iran despite US sanction, Hulk Bank as a major Turkish bank will continue banking transactions to make facilitate trade with Iran noted Darya Ures, Turkish ambassador to Tehran TCCIMA's public relations reported.

In a meeting with Masoud Khansari, chairperson of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries,Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA) Turkish ambassador noted on a pereferencial trade agreement between two countries, the draft of the agreement reached to a good result he said. According to Ures Turkish private sector is open to collaborate with Iranian counterpart  despite Severe pressure of sanctions . Pointing on target of $30 b for bilateral trade he added trade volume between two countris have been declined since 2012 because of unfair sanctions against Iran. Despite US pressure, the Hulk Bank will be the main channel for financial transactions with Iran Turkish envoy said.

 

TCCIMA chairperson noted on readdiness of Tehran chamber to colaborate with Turkish embassy to develop both sides private sector relation. By Tehran chamber invitation a business delegation from Ankara chamber of commerce will visit Iran soon according to Khansari..
