During the meeting, the
Belarusian ambassador, Yuriy Ivanowich emphasized the willingness of the Belorassian
Chamber of Commerce and Industry to host TCCIMA’s delegation in coming summer,
while emphasizing its interest in developing economic cooperation with Iran. He
said one of the obstacles for the trade between the two countries is the
restrictions imposed on monetary and banking transactions, adding despite the imposed
sanctions Iran and Belarus can continue to trade.
TCCIMA’s head, Masood
Khansari, referring to the political bond between the two countries, according
to him, has been consistent throughout the past years the level of economic
relations between the two countriesare not acceptable he said. Considering the
industrial and economic capacities in both countries, the level of economic
relations can be expanded by knowing precisely the economic actors of both
sides in terms of opportunities for cooperation Khansari said.
