TCCIMA held Iran Pakistan joint forum

In an event held by Tehran Chamber of Commerce Industries Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA) with cooperation of Pkistan embassy in Tehran the main business challenges between two countries have been considered TCCIMA’s public relations reported.

At a joint meeting of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and the Pakistani embassy in Iran, with the participation of a number of economic activists from both countries, the status of trade between the two sides and the joint capacities of cooperation in economic areas was examined.




According to Rafeat Masood, Pakistanis ambassador to Iran, for Iranian businessmen and women the embassywill have been issuing 6mounth or one year multiple visa, as first step to ease trade between both countries. Transit challenges were another issue have been evaluated at the event.




Secretary general of the Tehran chamber, Bahman Eshghi, emphasized on the necessary of establishing free trade between both sides.




Electricity sales by Iran in exchange for buying rice from Pkistan was another proposal giving by Pakistanis side to develop bilateral trade.
