European companies to continue trade with Iran: envoy
(Saturday, June 30, 2018)
Bulgaria’s ambassador to Iran said that U.S. withdrawal from Iran’s nuclear deal (known as JCPOA) cannot prevent European companies from having trade transactions with the country, IRNA reported on Tuesday.
Christo Stefanov Polendakov, who made the remarks during the opening ceremony of International Industrial and Metalworking Technologies Exhibition (AMB Iran 2018) in Tehran, added that “removal of sanctions was among the achievements of JCPOA implementation but U.S. unilateral withdrawal from deal cannot be translated as a concern about a new round of sanctions against Iran.”
As he informed, the European Union is on the process of facilitating European investors’ presence in Iran.
